FAQS

When should I use Type L instead of Type M (Conical Pointed)?

Use Type L (Ball Nose) when you need to create or clean a rounded internal corner or radius. Use Type M (Pointed) only when you need to reach into a sharp, 90-degree internal angle or a narrow V-groove where a rounded tip would be too large.

Is the Type L burr effective on non-metal materials like plastics?

Yes, the premium micro-grain carbide and double-cut geometry make it highly effective on hard plastics and composites, as well as all industrial metals. For plastics, we recommend using a lower RPM to prevent the material from melting and "loading" the teeth.

Does it work with standard 1/4 inch collet die grinders?

Yes. While the micro L0310 models feature a 3mm (1/8") shank for precision tools, our standard industrial sizes (6mm head diameter and up) all feature the universal 6mm (1/4") shank, ensuring 100% compatibility with professional pneumatic and electric die grinders.
